Digital Vehicle signage and advertising is expanding with the help of new technologies, these allow passengers to interact with an in cab advertising screen.

These in cab advertising screens can be built into the headrests or between the two front seats, with this type of interactive headrest the passenger can input their destination and then the cab can be tracked to ensure it is going the fastest possible way, it can also work as GPS locator for dispatch, so rather than sending one cab from the opposite side of the city, the dispatch manager checks the GPS locations nearest to the collection address, saving time, being more efficient and save fuel!

Some in cab screens are fitted with CCTV cameras, these are designed to protect both the passenger and the driver from any potential physical threats.

In the early days there was a down side and that was the software updates, or even updating fresh, new content. Now it is as simple as going online and uploading an image to a website, using wireless and 3G mobile technology, these in cab advertising screens will revolutionise the way people advertise, especially when an estimated 3 billion people per year use taxi’s to commute from offices in major cities throughout the world.
